Our flagship store holds court on a historic corner in the heart of Ellicottville, NY that’s as much a gathering place as it is a store. In 2018, we added a second location on the charming Main Street in East Aurora, NY. Both locations are unique in their range and level of service. Mud, Sweat n’ Gears is a member store of America’s Best Bootfitters and widely known as one of the premier ski bootfitting shop in Western New York. Our team of bootfitting specialists can guide you in purchasing the right ski boot to match the comfort and performance level you desire.
Our staff has trained and certified with top industry pros at Masterfit University. Their knowledge allows them to perform all high-end fit measures including boot and liner modification, boot shell punching and stretching, stance balancing and alignment engineering. We also offer custom footbeds and insoles for a wide variety of athletic activities including skiing, hiking, cycling, and more. Custom foodbeds have been shown to improve fit, increase performance, and reduce fatigue.
We have the training, years of experience and selection to fit you with the perfect boot for your comfort and skiing ability. We offer a wide range of ski boots from Rossignol, Nordica, Head, Tecnica, Lange, Dalbello, Atomic and Roxa. Our high-performance demo program is designed to make the whole process of buying a new set of skis a bit easier. Our demo fleet allows you to choose from our vast selection of high-performance skis. We stock the very best from Rossignol, Volkl, Nordica, Blizzard, Atomic, Head and Stockli. Try as many skis as you like until you find the best pair suited for your skiing.

Our junior lease package comes with season long free tuning, boot adjustments, size upgrades for growing kids and a affordable buyout option. New lease packages give the user the pleasure of skiing on all new equipment and putting in the first scratches. Used equipment has one or more seasons use, but still in top shape.

BUYOUT OPTION
We are offering an affordable buyout option on the equipment you leased this past season. You have the option of buying just the skis, just the boots or the entire package. The buyout prices are lower than starting over with a new seasonal lease package next season. If you choose the buyout option, we can take your credit card information over the phone or you can stop by the store.
