Women 2 Women Ski Event | Blizzard/Tecnica

February 19th-20th, Ellicottville, NY

Mud Sweat n’ Gears is hosting a two-day Women 2 Women (W2W) ski event in partnership with Blizzard/Tecnica. Join us in Ellicottville, NY for a curated experience focudes on women skiers, connection and confidence, on and off the slopes.

The event features a fun and educational evening at Mud, Sweat n’ Gears on Thursday evening. On Friday, our day starts with an optional mat pilates class or alpine ski touring, followed by an on snow demo featuring Blizzard’s 25/26 line up of women specific skis. Meet Leslie Baker Brown, global leader of the Women 2 Women Project, and ski alongside a supportive community of women.

The Word on the Slopes

My partner and I got away for a weekend of skiing but we were both in boots and gear that was over 2 decades old. We decided to pop in and see if we could be fitted for boots and skis. The staff was SO helpful and knowledgeable. They took their time and helped us find boots and skis that were perfect for us. Not to mention, they set up our bindings right on the spot so we could literally walk out the door and go right to the slopes. After a few runs, we were BLOWN AWAY at how amazing our new setups were and how much control we had. Getting the right gear was long overdue. Thank you thank you!

I bought new plug (race) boots at MS&G for a very reasonable (actually more like unbeatable) price. Miguel did a fantastic job fitting them and they fit me like a glove (zero negative space yet comfortable)! There aren’t many boot fitters of this caliber in the US and I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you’re a recreational skier or a racer, this is THE place to go for boots, skis, etc.

I am an avid skier and they did an amazing job sharpening my edges and waxing. Dare I say it was the best quality service I’ve had on my skis ever. They removed all the rust and repaired a small core shot. The best part of this was they did the service overnight and for less than 50$. Honestly amazing place for ski servicing!

Thank you for my new boots and the time you put in to make this an unforgettable experience. I recently purchased Tecnica Mach 1 95 LV and I can not express what a difference it made on the slopes!!!!! My current boots were too big and these fit me like a glove. My wife and I love shopping local but sometimes prices online are way better than what we see in stores. Not so here. Not only were the prices comparable to the prices at online stores, the personal touch was irreplaceable. Matt went above and beyond to find us gear that was perfect for our size and ability.
